At Orleans, we know that for many new homebuyers, a chief concern is selling the home you already own. Our Resale Contingency Program has been developed to give you peace of mind and assist you in that sale.

It's easy. Once you agree to purchase your Orleans home, you can apply for this program. A licensed appraiser, who is not affiliated with either A.P. Orleans, Inc. or the real estate broker you may select, will conduct an impartial appraisal to determine the current market value of your home. (You'll have the assurance of knowing what your home is really worth, so you can price it to sell. And, your cost for this appraisal will be reimbursed when you settle on your Orleans new home!) You simply provide us with a copy of your listing agreement.

You're protected. Under our Resale Contingency Program, your home will be listed with a real estate broker active in your local area, who will market your home under a plan that has been successful for hundreds of Orleans buyers just like you. If your home doesn't sell within the contingency period, you can cancel your new home purchase and all deposits will be promptly refunded in full.
